1500 Etsy Sales!!

purpleponyartHere's another great way to wind down the year--I hit 1500 Etsy sales!
When I started my shop in 2005, I had no idea what I was doing. Handmade was a lot more hipper then and social media didn't exist as we know it now. Etsians put in a lot of time and effort to promote the site. It would have been pretty easy to give up at any point along the way, but playing the long game has a lot of rewards. Once I discovered digital downloads could be a thing, I ran with it.
My shop is now 100% digital downloads. It's win-win for shopper and seller. I don't have to fuss with international shipping (which can take forever from Canada), cost of shipping and also storing shipping supplies. Customers get what they want right away too!
