It's here!
Oct. 25th, 2008 07:17 amAfter much tweaking (and re-checking of dates), the Calgary and area Christmas craft sale guides are here!
What amazed me is that there were so many I came out with three editions - north, south and out of town. That's a lot of sales! I truly hope it will help shoppers connect to crafters, and as well give potential crafters something to look forward to in 2009. The most common question I am asked is "How do you find out about these things?" It doesn't have to be a secret anymore.
Sometimes it disappoints me how some fail to realize the importance of advertising. And you know, not just of the sale itself, but the organization or community. I really had to dig for community centre email addresses as the ones I found were often incorrect. Community calendars that are out of date or not updated are disappointing in this wired age. The means to get the word out is there - but perhaps not the people power.
